Tasty Tuesday - Really, Really Simply Banana Bread

A club member loves this easy recipe that provides a good amount without ending up with a ton of leftovers. I bet you have all of the ingredients in your kitchen right now!! You'll need: 1 banana 1/2 t baking soda 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup mayonnaise Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a small loaf pan or a 8x8 cake pan with cooking spray. Mash the banana and baking soda together, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into pan. Cook for 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.  Let cool, then eat and enjoy!

Tasty Tuesday - Cupcake Cones

Image
Tasty Tuesday is ready to give you a quick, fun and easy recipe to try with your kids this week! Cupcake cones! You need: 1 box of cake mix (grab what's in your pantry or let your kiddos pick their favorite flavor) 1 cup of water 1/3 cup canola oil 3 large eggs 24 sugar cones Icing and/or decorations Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. Mix the eggs, water, cake mix and oil together until well blended. We tend to use the hand mixer because my toddler loves to help me use it. 3. Put the cones in muffin tins to bake. Then, fill the cones about 2/3 full with batter. 4. Bake for about 20 minutes. 5. Let cool (if you poke a hole in the bottom of the cone it helps keep it crisp). 6. Decorate! I need to make a special note about transportation. I used a mini muffin tin and mine ended up like this. It was a wonderful comedic moment, but completely avoidable. For a dollar, you can make one of these holders. You can find the easy details h
