Wondering what a typical MOMS Club event calendar looks like? Here's a sample from this past December.
Thursday Dec 1, 9:30 AM: Christmas Craft. Craft time for the kids, making pretty paper garland and paper ornaments. Hostess will supply all materials but feel free to bring some of your own.
Friday Dec 2: 4 & 5 year old playgroup
Monday Dec 5, 9:30 AM: Play N Wisconsin. An indoor playground with swing sets, trampolines, and basketballs hoops. Don't forget your socks! $5 for kids 2 and over.
Tuesday Dec 6: Baby & 1 year old playgroup; 2 & 3 year old playgroup
Wednesday Dec 7, 9:30 AM: Membership Meeting. Dave Riley, a UW-Madison professor in Human Development and Family Studies and author of several books and articles on child rearing, child care and early eduction, will be speaking with us about what researchers know about toddlers and discipline and will share specific parenting skills we can all take home and try.
Thursday Dec 8, 9:30 AM: Snow Globe Craft. Bring a picture of your kiddo to make a picture snow globe, a fun winter craft to keep for your kid(s) or give away as a gift. Craft supplies, snacks, drinks and fun playtime will be provided!
Friday Dec 9, 10 AM-12 PM: Badger Gymnastics. Designed for children ages one to five, this preschool open gym is the perfect opportunity for you to play with your kids in a playground of colors, shapes, bouncers, and trampolines. $5.00 Members / $6.00 Non-Members.
Monday Dec 12, 9 AM: Playdate at L’s House. Social and play time for both you and your kids. Snacks and drinks provided.
Tuesday Dec 13: 4 & 5 year old playgroup
Wednesday Dec 14: 2 & 3 year old playgroup
Thursday Dec 15, 9 AM: Playdate at J’s House. Come over for some toddler-friendly winter crafts, coffee, and cookies.
Thursday Dec 15, 7 PM: Mothers’ Night Out at Granite City. Dinner out! Let's relax and have mommy time before the holidays.
Friday Dec 16: 4 & 5 year old playgroup
Monday Dec 19, 10 AM: Cookie Exchange! Bring a few dozen of your favorite Christmas cookies and go home with lots more kinds! There will also be cookies for the kids to decorate (and eat).
Tuesday Dec 20: Baby & 1 year old playgroup; 2 & 3 year old playgroup
Wednesday Dec 21, 11:00 AM: Lunch at Roman Candle Pizza
Thursday Dec 22, 9:30 AM: Snack & Play at Whole Foods. The kids can play in a fun toy area while the mamas sit back, sip on coffee or tea, and chat. Feel free to bring in your own food for snack time, though Whole Foods does have a yummy selection of muffins and cookies.
Friday December 23, 9:30 AM: Verona Public Library. Come and play at the library! It has a train table, toy food, puzzles, big building blocks, magnet boards, computer games, and of course books.

Thursday Dec 29, 10:30 AM: B&N Storytime. Let's meet for story time at the Barnes and Nobles by ShopKo. Come on in early to play with the trains and have coffee before the stories begin.
