Halloween costumes encouraged! MOMS Club(R) of Madison - Southwest is the local chapter of a national organization of Moms Offering Moms Support. We host play groups, social events, local outings, casual monthly meetings, meal trains, community service projects, and nights out. Our intention is to create connections of friendship and support. At our September meeting, members exchanged books. Moms and kiddos got to take home new books and donated extra books to local organizations.

We had such a fun time at the Verona Library Storytime at Eplegaarden! Themed stories, songs, apple picking, wagons and friends!

As the weather gets colder, our club has plenty of indoor activities for moms and kiddos!

Our moms are so creative and talented! For our spring theme of DIY, we shared projects and tips at our recent membership meeting

Our annual swap event was a huge success! Members brought their unwanted kids clothes, toys, and books to swap with each other. We donated all the extra items to local organizations!

We love our free zoo! One of our members picked a great day to host a trip to the zoo - beautiful weather, good friends and free carousel rides this month!

We just began a meal train for a mom who recently gave birth. It is one of the ways our club supports its members when life gets busy.

We love to meet at the library for storytime, crafts and play. The Fitchburg, Verona and Middleton libraries have such great programs and play spaces!

We just had a "Favorite Things Party" for Mom's Night Out. We each exchanged 5 copies of a favorite thing that costs $5 each. It was very fun to learn about food, gadgets and accessories that other moms like. Some of our favorite things this year were: packing cubes, silicone baking mats, flavored water, reusable produce bags, wet brushes, cheese, latte mix, travel sized games and batter spoons.

At our recent membership meeting, a UW Health nutritionist shared tips about picky eaters. Our wonderful presenter did a great job despite the children riding tricycles around our group  :p
